Will Wally fit my wall?

It's the first question almost everyone asks. The answer is almost always yes, and you can check in three quick steps.

01 Space

Hang it where you'd hang a tall mirror.

Wally is about 48 inches wide and 60 inches tall on the wall, with a small reservoir that sits on the floor below. Shorter than a standard doorway.

The width of a long sideboard. About 4 feet across. If you have wall space for a console table or low credenza, you have space for Wally.
Shorter than a doorway. A standard interior door is 80 inches tall. Wally tucks under that with room to spare.
The reservoir sits on the floor. About 10 by 12 inches at the base. Plan for it where you'd place a small planter.

02 Surface

It mounts on almost any wall.

Wally ships with screws and wall plugs for the most common wall types. The reservoir sits on the floor, so the wall only carries the channel frame and the water inside it.

The strongest substrate. Standard anchor plugs hold easily.

Anchor into the brick itself, not the mortar lines.

Solid wood or structural framing takes the included screws directly.

Drywall

Mount into studs. A basic stud finder gives you the lines.

If your wall can carry a properly anchored bookshelf, it can carry Wally.

03 Light

Match the wall to what you want to grow.

More sun unlocks more crops. No direct sun is still not a problem.
